(full bio) His career began as an Art Director designing album packaging for GRP Records, the Verve Music Group, and Jive Records where he worked with artists such as KRS ONE, Diana Krall, Backstreet Boys, Natalie Cole, and Tupac.
As the Art Director for Vibe and Uptown Magazine, he developed, designed and maintained the publication’s visual language and managed all aspects of content creation. Producing Vibe’s stunning content and cover shoots with such artists as Drake, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, 50 Cent, and Lil Wayne.
His strategic ventures include co-founder and former vice president for Integrated Beverage Group, where, as creative director, he successfully built the brand’s identity and designed the packaging for the companies line of frozen beverage products. In addition, Jason has successfully navigated the independent publishing world with the founding of Augustus Publishing in 2005, releasing over 20 fiction novels with four national bestsellers.
